Gold Spot was that iconic orange soft drink that was really massive in Nigeria in the '80s and early '90s Produced by Parle Products (the Indian company), it got sold to Coca-Cola Nigeria its biggest rival who eventually phased it out to push Fanta. Nothing beat its unique, zesty taste. It was different from Fanta and better than Mirinda for many of us. Who else still misses Gold Spot so bad? 😩
