I had lunch with a "famous" friend of mine who wanted to ask me about the Apes, web3, etc.. As I explained my early history with BAYC and it's IP we started talking about Community and how important it is in all industries. We spoke about the club, the meetups and all the talented people involved. He eventually asked me if @BoredApeYC and its founders "Follow" me, they don't. He used that angle to dig deeper into my involvement into a community that doesn't follow back and appears one-$ided. He made some very impactful points that I deep down knew was true but was hopeful this community was different. The "community" conversation was deep and I feel like a fool. I didn't tell him about my foolish Otherside bags, ugh! I feel like shit, I feel like a fool for supporting a club that doesn't even know who I am and doesn't care about my history or supportive participation. FT, down bad
