Thursday’s horse racing thread 🧵 Taunton 1.05 A King Of Magic 7/1 each way Taunton 3.25 Spirits Bay 8/1 each way Lingfield 4.50 Woodrafff 11/10 NEXT BEST Chelmsford 7.30 Crimson Rambler 11/10 NAP I really feel like A KING OF MAGIC is overpriced here. He shaped well both starts in bumpers and then wasn’t disgraced when fifth on hurdles debut at Exeter. That experience won’t have been lost of him and with improvement to come he should be in the mix at a nice price. I can’t help but think SPIRITS BAY is overpriced here. He ran well when fourth to Followcato at Exeter and that is decent form. He is unexposed over fences and dropping back to 2 miles looks a good move so he should be shorter than an 8/1 chance in my opinion. The jockey just went for home too soon on WOODRAFFF at Wolverhampton last time. Dequinto who finished a long last has won next time out so the form has already been boosted. If he is held on to for longer here he should get the job done as this is definitely winnable. Great chance for CRIMSON RAMBLER to open his account. He was just a bit rough around the edges denied a neck back from a break and fitter now with further improvement to come in handicaps should make no mistake under Callum Shepherd.
