I have already seen people celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk. If that is you, get a fucking grip. That was a man, a father, and a husband. His only “crime” was speaking out about his own beliefs, a right we all have in America. His death solves none of your problems.

@yuniflybeans He didn’t contribute to any death himself. Don’t blame others violence or failure on someone who simply spoke for what he believed in. Speaking an opinion does not mean death, and definitely not in the capacity he spoke. That argument is ridiculous.

Charlie was a man who valued honest discussion, and open debate over violence. He advocated for the peaceful battle of ideas, and talked about fearing what happens when people reject peaceful discourse. And you fucking shot him.

Charlie Kirk is a father and a husband. He is a human. I don’t care if you politically disagree with him nothing justifies this sick act.

Charlie Kirk was more committed to peaceful, open dialogue with those who disagreed with him than anyone I know. God blessed him with immense gifts, and he used them boldly and without fear. He knew the risks he was taking, but he did it anyway because he loved his kids & felt a responsibility to the nation they would inhabit. I traveled the entire country with him last year, we spent 1x1 time together in Ohio two weeks ago, spoke to him again 2 days ago. He’s long warned of the rise of political violence & the growing culture of assassination, when few were willing to listen, with a clarity of vision unlike anyone I’ve known. Completely and utterly devastated.

Can’t believe what I just saw. Disgusted. I hope Charlie Kirk pulls through. I don’t give a fuck where you stand in political views, we are losing our sense of humanity.
