Finally got my PET scan resultsโ
First scan since I finished chemo, and thereโs no sign of the cancer returning so far ๐ญ๐ฉต oncologist said the more time that passes, the less chance there is of it returning so ๐ค๐ป

@obenson34 20 rounds is alot. My grandpa had a similar treatment plan. ALOT of radiation: but it made him nervous so he did more chemo instead. Heโs still fighting. So glad ur okay & I pray u stay in remission๐

@_awkwardlezbean Yeah, they wanted to do 6 + 20 rounds of radiation but the risk of lung cancer in my family made me settle for 12 chemo treatments instead. I responded super well to it thank goodness. Itโs a slow recovery but Iโm def better than I was. My hair is growing back pretty fast too

@_awkwardlezbean Yeah it was crazy to see the before and after. It was bigger than my heart. It was in the center but pressing on my heart and lung. Only needed 12 chemo treatments & it was gone. I had Hodgkins Lymphoma. Itโs very treatable unlike non-Hodgkins.
