#GGSTGuessWho #robosweep #roboky Haven't seen many artists try fitting Robo-Ky into the new Guilty Gear character silhouette, so I'll be the change I want to see in the world. I don't even think it's him btw, this is just something of an art challenge for me.

@finlaena I think Erra (the sentient) deserved far better than he got, and it felt like they really wanted to distance themselves from the sentient/new war/narmer arc asap since it seems like Hunhow is beginning to become core to the narrative again, I'm really hopeful Erra comes back to.

@finlaena I'm generally far more positive about the games direction overall, but this is objectively correct, for better sometimes, and worse others. there's something symbolic about the newest Constellation update first showing the corpse of a orb we never got to fight before we moved on

I’ll be honest and say I’m not a huge fan of the direction Warframe has taken over the last couple years (since Whisper in the Walls) but it is what it is. Dante Deluxe looks gorgeous, so happy they made the addition to Mesa Heirloom, the QoL sounds solid.

I just played against Aba a bunch and she honestly still feels the same. She needs some QoL changes for her routing (that's it) but the changes to her gauge and making uninstall punishable is really nice. However, uninstall only ever gets punished point blank. (1/3)

@MoodyPresence Ohh okay I get you. Uninstall itself being punishable seems fair to me, but one combo guaranteeing into another does seem super harsh, even for a resource punish.

@MoodyPresence @HomeDepotemkin And I do actually lean towards ABA getting hit too hard overall, at least Anecdotally. I've been playing Faust recently and it really seems like ABA doesn't have answers against me outside of JR. She seems very matchup dependent.

@MoodyPresence @HomeDepotemkin Honest question I promise, why isn't bonding and dissolving as a combo ender when you're low on JR meter a viable option? Isn't that a way to get out of JR that isn't punishable?

This doesn't have anything to do with the game's popularity. Or Ubisoft. Or the balancing. Or the game itself. It's me. My audience has been mentally checked out for years. My Deadlock content is popping off. Maybe Marathon will pop off too. Who knows?

@_ebony_x_ivory_ I think that's entirely fair take, but imo that's moreso a shift in philosophy. I think their original reason was for simplicity sake, but now that they want to add such things it's harder because the time and budget are just different when you're making a game vs updating it

@_blitzen_ @The_Su_n Tbh that doesnt reallt stand anymore. It's more of a budget thing now since they WANT to, but they said it usually takes the dev time of 2 characters.

I notice xrd had all those flashy finisher moves , is there a reason why they aren't in GGST ? Like a change in philosophy or maybe budget allowed to the Guilty gear team? I notice grandblue and Fighter Z have those. (not nitpicking here, i'm just curious)

@The_Su_n So change in philosophy, yeah. Strive wanted to be less complex to onboard more new players easier

@The_Su_n If I recall right instant kills aren't in strive because they wanted Strive to be easier to understand for new players, and a lotta new players may not understand why they just got immediately killed in a cutscene
