@_crogers Honestly the only issue this car has is EVAP… and it’s unfixable, I have a million hours in smoke testing it and multiple fuel tank pulls. Finally just gave up, it drives perfectly.

Was on a drive with @_crogers and forgot I owned this car… he was like “casually forgets owning one of the most beautiful cars ever made” I’ll admit she looks okay.

@WatchJRGo1198 One of my buddies has an R129 SL600 and loves it. He had to make friends with a Mercedes mechanic, but I don’t think that’s going to be a problem for you

@WatchJRGo1198 My first job out of high school was working at a Starbucks, and I remember one of my regulars rolling up in a Cabrio when those first came out. Absolutely stunning, and I flipped out every time I saw it. Think he later traded it in for an R230 SL 63.

@reidjim76 @edmunds The quote from the GMC spokesperson is "for [model year 2024] there currently is only a 7-passenger configuration." The wording leaves the possibility of an 8-seater in the future, but hard to say when that will come to fruition, if it all.

@reidjim76 @edmunds Interesting. They must have altered their go-to-market strategy as the release date neared. Since GMC is marketed as the more upscale sister brand to Chevy, it's possible they equated captain's chairs with luxury and nixed the bench.

@_crogers @edmunds I've been waiting for the new 2024 Acadia and planned to order the 8-passenger version. Now that it's finally rolling out, the 8-passenger option isn't there. They even removed mention of it from the GMC website. Any news on if it will come later?

@reidjim76 @edmunds Hello Jim. I checked the 2924 Acadia vehicle order guide and verified with a GMC spokesperson: there is currently only a 7-passenger configuration. I'm not sure if this will always be the case, but it wouldn't hurt to give them feedback and tell them you're interested in the 8
