Home from busy week examining @RCSEd #DipIMC and #FIMC. Challenging and exhausting catching up for missed sittings from last year, but fantastic to catch up with colleagues across UK and see how far trainees have developed in last year. Thank you Edinburgh, it's been a blast!

Absolutely broken-hearted today to say a final goodbye to my son Christian, who died of suicide two weeks ago. So many emotions that I just can’t voice, but thank you everyone who has already supported us, and especially the amazing friends tagged who came up. ❤️

@docib The absolute failure is the assumption that resilience comes from with in. Resilience is provided by the systems one functions in. The notion that a person ‘lacks resilience’ is inherently flawed (*read ‘plain wrong’).

I realise I really shouldn’t say this, but I can’t stand the word ‘resilience’....

It took me 42 yrs 2 realize i was the bully, or paying bullies 2 abuse,torture,kill innocent,voiceless beings under the guise of needing their body parts 2 survive n b healthy. Never again will i be lied 2, manipulated, brainwashed into supporting taking a sentient being's life.
