@canonrumorsguy As R3 owner, this body makes sense purely for the size factor. It is smaller from 1 series and from R5 with battery grip. I have huge hands and 1Dx was too big for me. The other story is how big is the market for such body to be even considered.

@autoexec_bin Digic 8 vs Digic 8. One from SX70, other from 250D. Different P/N but at least UART and JTAG pinout (and in general - ball grid array layout) matches.

DIGIC 8, after stacked (package on a package) RAM was removed. Good luck googling CH4-7000 P/N. No cameras were harmed during chip removal. That SX70 HS was already dead by water submersion. @autoexec_bin

@XikeStor0963 This product is flawed. Mine errors out after adding more than 30 entries in Tagged VLAN tab. And management interface is bound to bridge 0, for which tagged vlan doesn't work (there's no communication). Cool device, but firmware is unusable.

Got a faster card (Adata 64GB, ~290/260 r/w on UHSII reader). In cam benchmarks peak at ~220MB/s write. 3072x1728px was (almost) sustainable at 25fps. This is probably the limit of what uncompressed 14 bit RAW can do on this cam. @autoexec_bin #eosr #magiclantern
