@ShotgunShogun1 Same as with Kuro. This generosity is mainly due to underperforming/blunders. ZZZ still struggles with direction. Though Hoyo does start to look less stingy with the rewards in some cases as of recent.

It's never the 1st anniversary that's concerning. It's always the 2nd. But ye they've treated us well overall in S2 icl. We'll see what they do for 3.0

@2ZReD @Nelo47Angelo Gachas rarely truly "fail". HSR, Genshin, ZZZ, PGR, etc. are still there and do their thing. What's important is your personal enjoyment. I dropped PGR, HSR when I no longer felt I am getting the same deal vs when I started it. The only gacha to never drop a ball on me is NIKKE.

This is it. Players needs to understand this is what's wrong. The core issue of the anniversary is that people who started AFTER the first anniversary, has NO WAYS to obtain 1.x characters and this only shows WHY that is a big problem. WUWA works around a big FOMO strategy that's basically "big dopamine to obtain the newest limited character", and moving on. That is why everything is around that. Just think for a second: 1) Lack of past character skins 2) No use of past characters (every major buff for the biggest game mode are gathered towards the newest limited character... outside of matrix which requires plenty of teams anyway) 3) Story not involving past characters at all (not talking about PREVIOUS update... 1.x and 2.x characters are completely GONE by now). Their arc is gone? Yes, does that means they're gone? I don't think so... 4) No significant reruns unless it's to help the newest characters 5) Gameplay mechanics that are always being cut / never fully developed (coordinated attacks, spectro frazzle, etc... Jinhsi is STILL WAITING her best partner, if you forgot about that). I can go on, but I think you get the issue. Are developers reworking 1.x characters so they can have a use in future content? We don't know and if that's the case (I hope), they're taking too long on that. More than a year, exactly. Jinhsi is one of my favourite characters and if BY ANY REASON I want to make her relevant in end games again to avoid powercreep and get copies of her; I CAN'T. Because she seems to not be available ever again. Why? Because devs needs to sell the NEW characters. There is NO ROOM for past stuff. Yes, new characters gives more money to the game. Yes, making constant updates with ONLY new content gives more money, yes. We know that. But wuwa never stops. They don't think a way to monetize their game without this FOMO strategy. That is what's wrong in my opinion and why I can't just recommend this game even if I like it and play it regularly. Just like in PGR, they got stale. They're using the same old strategy since the game was born. For some reason these gacha games are so afraid of innovate. Avoid the "all gacha games are like this". I'm only talking about Wuwa because that's what I PLAY. If something is wrong, is wrong. Doesn't matter who does it.

@Nelo47Angelo Core of the issue is Kuro is a gacha company. And not a very good one. The only thing they're good at is psyoping players into thinking they're different/generous/listen, etc. They aren't and they don't. With WuWa it should be painfully obvious by now.

It’s very obvious the people that are mad are the hardcore WuWa glazers who got mad over smacks story takes at one point in time. The gacha space is literally known for its content creators saying the most wild shit they’d do to these fictional characters. @a_daayum @filyxxv_ We learned she's still a kid at heart despite being an Endfield operative and a member of The Pack. That was the main takeaway for me. It was cute and lighthearted. I do agree that Yvonne's was better. Not sure about Wulfgard tho.
