Imagine every pixel on your screen, streamed live directly from a model. No HTML, no layout engine, no code. Just exactly what you want to see. @eddiejiao_obj, @drewocarr and I built a prototype to see how this could actually work, and set out to make it real. We're calling it Flipbook. (1/5)

@theonejvo Actually, the epidemiologists felt that way. The real question was how it evolves, not what it is made of. This is why everybody failed. Maybe an even better view on the security mfers :)

In March 2014, Henry Kissinger warned against Ukraine becoming a pawn in a competition between NATO and Russia, as this would tear apart Ukraine and redivide Europe for decades: - "Far too often the Ukrainian issue is posed as a showdown: whether Ukraine joins the East or the West. But if Ukraine is to survive and thrive, it must not be either side’s outpost against the other—it should function as a bridge between them… The west is largely Catholic; the east largely Russian Orthodox. The west speaks Ukrainian; the east speaks mostly Russian. Any attempt by one wing of Ukraine to dominate the other—as has been the pattern—would lead eventually to civil war or break up. To treat Ukraine as part of an East-West confrontation would scuttle for decades any prospect to bring Russia and the West—especially Russia and Europe—into a cooperative international system" washingtonpost.com/opinions/henry…

Trump sounds more and more like Yeltsin: happy and confident when everything is falling down around him. Only that he doesn't need alcohol to detach from reality. When you think that he won because he seemed to be a realist... Beware of the American Putin that will replace him.

@BowesChay You're not much of a journalist if you link Nicușor to the stolen elections. This is propaganda, Nicușor, whatever his faults, won the elections. And it is also clear you failed your duty as a journalist because there is no evidence of him being "Brussels puppet".

I was illegally detained and deported from Romania for working to expose EU interference in the stolen elections. Watch as a Romanian journalist asks the illegally installed Brussels puppet Nicușor Dan, for evidence of Russian interference. He literally falls apart on air.

The relationship between the United States and Europe continues to move in a positive direction. We just got the tariff cuts in the U.S.-EU Joint Statement approved by the European Parliament. Critical minerals and Pax Silica initiatives are underway, which will protect the AI supply chains of the United States and our allies. @rte

@theonejvo @AnthropicAI This is where the money really is in AI. This and war. What this post proves is that we are already past the threshold. Imagine what kind of attacks on any IT infrastructure states can deploy right now, without Mithos. What the response could be?

I support @AnthropicAI. Their research is genuinely frontier. But treating Mythos as uniquely dangerous while ignoring that available models (both open-weight and Opus) with the right framework/harness can already achieve comparable results gives defenders a false sense of security. The gatekeeping isn't protecting anyone because the capability is already achieveable. Every major study on frontier attack AI - UK AISI, Mythos system card, all of them - was tested in controlled environments with no active defences. The authors say this themselves. What nobody is publishing is what happens when autonomous offensive AI runs for 5 days against real infrastructure with a real SOC watching. We are. tryaether.ai/blog/long-runn…

We are told that security in the Middle East requires defeating Iran, security in East Asia requires defeating China, and security in Europe requires defeating Russia. We never discuss security in terms of how to learn to live together by harmonising interests and managing competition. This is by design. This is hegemonic peace, in which security depends on defeating rivals rather than managing a balance of power. Subsequently, security relies solely on deterrence rather than reassurance; diplomacy is dismissed as appeasement; peace agreements are temporary and deceptive; and war is peace. Our rivals do not have legitimate security concerns, as their policies are allegedly always motivated by aggressive, irrational, or expansionist behaviour. We have convinced ourselves that our liberal hegemony is a force for good, and that our opponents oppose our dominance because they reject our benign values of freedom. Discussing the security concerns of adversaries is believed to “legitimise” their policies, which is treasonous. The world is divided into good guys (liberal democracies) and bad guys (autocracies). We should not ask how defeating Russia, as the world's largest nuclear power, is a rational security strategy, or why our governments refuse to even speak with Moscow to discuss the European security architecture and end the war. Our governments have relabelled nuclear deterrence as nuclear blackmail to signal that there can be no more constraints. All empires can become irrational during decline. Leaders take greater risks to avoid decline, legitimacy crises at home must be distracted with enemies abroad, outdated strategies from a bygone era of strength are still embraced, and there is a tendency to double down on narratives of being indispensable, representing universal values, and dismissing all opposition as illegitimate and dangerous. Are we the fanatics?

@mgurri For me, this reduces to a context problem: humans carry immense amounts of context, available at hand in whatever decision they make. This allows for literally an infinite scale of nuances. A LLM is ages away from the same amount of context in any inference it makes.

@jmckenzie624 @engineers_feed Most of you skipped physics classes in highschool. 1. Wheels are designed to reduce friction to whatever is under them 2. Jet engine physics relies on momentum conservation. 1. -> Conveyors transfer a tiny fraction of momentum compared to jet engines, regardless of their speed.

Vance @JDVance is in Hungary today - and he’s in for a shock. He’s not only hearing about threats from Zelensky against Orbán, but is also being shown a video of a corrupt mafia of Zelensky: former SBU general sitting in a gas station toilet, forging documents for the transport of $90 million and 9 kg of gold. This case centers on Ukraine’s state-owned Oschadbank. The money was being transported in Oschadbank vehicles - and it was seized by Hungarian police a month ago. These aren’t abstract allegations - this is a documented operation now in the hands of Hungarian authorities. Hungarian police released the footage and stated that the banknotes had never been in circulation - brand new, fresh off the press. Mindich’s gold toilet was only the beginning. So, we wait for Sybyga’s barking that this is all Russian propaganda. @PM_ViktorOrban @VP

‼️BREAKING: 🚨 Hungary’s National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) disclosed new evidence regarding the recently opened criminal investigation into suspected money laundering linked to the so-called “gold convoy” transporting large amounts of Ukrainian cash and gold through Hungary. 💶 Investigators found that armored vehicles carried freshly printed euros and dollars that had never entered circulation, tied to multiple banks including Ukraine’s Oschadbank, as well as Polish and Gibraltar-based institutions. 📹 Evidence includes a video allegedly showing a former Ukrainian intelligence major general falsifying documents in a gas station restroom, while associates discuss corruption-related payments. The shipment involved around $40 million, €35 million, and 9 kilograms of gold, with unclear origin and purpose. ⚖️ NAV has requested international cooperation and rejected claims of unlawful conduct, emphasizing that all investigative actions were documented and carried out in accordance with the law.

@mgurri I mean, it helps if people fear you, but it is much more effective if they fear AND admire you. In business (where Trump comes from) there is no need for that, that is a solo game. I fear (!) though that in international politics this is a losing hand.

@mgurri Right. It is primitive and effective but comes at a big cost: isolation. Switching from a community of values to a community of material interests may work in the short term, but the USA is not a true hegemon that needs no stable alliances. The world is too big even for Trump.
