@abelanda81 Make club seasons end earlier and allow teams to have more time to prepare right before the WC. They have what, 10 days (?) now, make them 3 weeks. Solutions could be found if FIFA/UEFA sightly cared about anything other than money.

Players generally care more about their national teams rather than the clubs that pay them. It's an anomaly that their actual employers have to let go off them and risk their presence during the most crucial part of the job they are paying them to do. But FIFA make money so...

@GreekCule The timing of the windows could be better. Definitely try and avoid March window. Problem is when its WC year and the March window suddenly becomes very important. A very tricky balancing act.

@abelanda81 NT competition increase their overall value and potential marketing revenue, indeed, but the way international breaks are scheduled hurts the clubs' interests in a way that can't be compensated. I totally agree with your last point.

Lo de Joel Raffo y Carlos “Chalaquita” Gonzales es increíble: viven del club mientras el club vive en escasez. Que Uribe, siendo director deportivo, pase a ser técnico sería lo último que le puede pasar a Sporting Cristal. Desorden institucional total.

@GreekCule Maybe, but clubs also benefit from having these players. They pay them well because of what they generate, they also assist them in expanding their global fan numbers. It requires a balance that will probably never be reached. At least I dont think it will ever satisfy both sides

@abelanda81 Paying someone (tones of money) to have them leave for free and potentially not be available during the most important part of the job you pay them for is a paradox. FIFA should arrange things differently cause clubs have every right to be furious.

We could potentially run the box midfield as well with Pedri and Bernal deep + Fermin and Olmo in front of them (Frenkie, Balde back soon helps as well). It will be effective with Cancelo basically being the winger in possession.
