@DietLiteMusic I agree w/ the sentiment about wrongfully assuming a less popular band isn’t going to have inspiring music. I don’t really think it’s very deep tho, guitar music is pretty niche. It is nice to be able to say, I’m an artist outside of making ppl coffee. coffee is cool too tho

@ablebakerwi its endearing but also insulting, like they have to say "actually" good. as if smaller unknown artists cant be good, that they cant be good unless their talent hasnt been affirmed by a big label or something

the fun part about being a musician is that when you tell ppl at your day job about that part of your life, they will automatically assume you totally suck so so so much at music haha and that's just fine

today i’m tracking my guitar parts and probably vocals for the 10th and final song for the able baker album. yesterday eric finished drums for the whole record. we’re gettin really close to the end!!
