Fuck the LAPD. How do you respond to a noise complaint with 20 cops and a helicopter for a NOISE COMPLAINT???? And then kill the womanโs doodle in front of her and her child all because he came to see who was at the door. A dog that has no reputation of being hostile.. just sick

My heart is broken for the woman and her child who lost their dog. Do not call the cops for a noise complaint. Even if your assumption about domestic violence is correct, police are not trained to deal with that kind of situation. Call a crisis number if you truly think that is

This is so egregious even the LAPD press release doesn't know what to do. This "large dog" apparently "charged" at a cop,ย "resulting in an Officer Involved Shooting."
For all we know this dog's last thought was excitement or curiosity at all the cops โ all for them to murder him.
