@Andymack I’ve just unboxed after a overseas move and decided to mix everything. The only pattern I followed was 12” singles together, 12” albums together and CDs, anything paper based kept together . I find it good for my head finding music/genres placed randomly. I like to dig.

Record collecting people, currently my albums are all in alphabetical order but I'm thinking about rejigging things & sorting them by genre. Is this a mad idea? Where do you even start? What genres? Do you end up arguing with yourself over where something goes? So many questions

RIP Steve Albini - he has passed away aged 61🌹 Music today would indeed be markedly different without the influential underground scene of the 1980s. One individual who played a significant role in shaping this scene was Steve Albini.
