Oracle SQLcl now having MCP support is a huge productivity boost. Obviously caveats about source control, not letting it run wild in Production etc, but still this is really impressive.
@krisrice @thatjeffsmith and the team at @oracle have done an amazing job.

@krisrice @MCP_Community @Clinebot @cursor_ai @AnthropicAI It's going to be a game-changer for productivity.
(Obviously with caveats of source-control, don’t let your AI run riot in Production etc etc etc….)

@mortenbraten @dgielis and as I said, I can only comment on what I built and how I built it. I have no working knowledge of other products.
English

@mortenbraten @dgielis I definitely never claimed to come up with the concept of the JSON / template tags, that was all down to Docxtemplater and the other libraries I used at the time (I’m pretty sure I was 100% transparent in the presentation about the entire technology stack).
English

@mortenbraten @dgielis It’s not my intention to highlight or comment on the history or functionality of anyone else’s Product, only reflecting on what I built and presented on all those years. AOP has been a well respected product and more importantly was brought to market.

@JaysonHanes @oracleace A simple DM of "Hey next time, would you mind…” would have been a way better customer focused approach IMHO, that could have avoided this whole thread taking away from my original message....but as you say “this isn't a debate”
English

@aejes @oracleace not at all - I thanked you for those. I'm not sure why it's not clear. This isn't a debate - we'd just like to see only Oracle APEX everywhere.
English

@JaysonHanes @oracleace and for reference, I'm absolutely fine with “we'd just like to see only Oracle APEX everywhere.”, I can absolutely get behind that.
The message was good, the delivery was not.

@JaysonHanes @oracleace You’ve lost me with “I'm not sure why it's not clear”, What have I said I'm unclear on?
