BREAKING: Israel, US hit major Iranian gas facility in Gulf, Iranian state media reports

Nah, the truth doesn't suck 😑this viral MLK quote you're posting (the "Letter to an Anti-Zionist Friend" claiming "When people criticize Zionism, they mean Jews, this is God’s own truth" and "Anti-Zionist is inherently anti-Semitic, and ever will be so") is straight-up fabricated bullshit (as to be expected). Tim Wise dismantled this fraud back in 2003 (full article: electronicintifada.net/content/fraud-…). Here's the facts: 1. The letter was supposedly published on page 76 of the August 1967 Saturday Review. Nope. All four August issues were checked: page 76 was either classified ads or a review of The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper album. Zero MLK letter. 2. It was also claimed to appear in a book called This I Believe: Selections from the Writings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. That book doesn't exist. 3. The grammar is off ("Anti-Zionist is inherently anti Semitic, and ever will be so" — missing hyphen, awkward phrasing) and doesn't match King's documented writing style at all. 4. It first surfaced in Rabbi Marc Schneier's 1999 book Shared Dreams. From there it got blasted around the internet by the ADL (quoted in Congressional testimony in 2001), pro-Israel orgs, Likud supporters, and Christian Zionists to shut down any criticism of Israel. Even used in 2003 to try to cancel an anti-racism activist from an MLK Day event. 6. What MLK actually said: His only known comment on the topic (as per Seymour Martin Lipset) was a narrow caution to a student: “Don’t talk like that. When people criticize Zionists, they mean Jews. You’re talking Anti-Semitism.” It was about not letting anti-Zionist talk slide into overt Jew-hatred, not a blanket declaration that all anti-Zionism = anti-Semitism, and not public endorsement of Zionism as ideology. Publicly, MLK's Israel comments were limited and balanced. Weeks before his death he told Jewish leaders: peace for Israel means security, and “we must stand with all our might to protect its right to exist.” But he also called for a Marshall Plan-style economic aid program for Middle Eastern Arabs to fight poverty and reduce hostility toward Israel. No public statements on Zionism theory, the 1967 war specifics, or Palestinian rights (he was assassinated in 1968, before the occupations deepened). King was a radical anti-imperialist who marched against the Vietnam War and supported Third World liberation. Weaponizing a fake letter to claim he’d back modern Israeli policy is the same grift as misusing his "content of their character" line to attack affirmative action (he actually supported reparations and race-conscious policies). Stop recycling forged MLK quotes to launder apartheid apologetics. The man’s real legacy stands on justice for the oppressed everywhere, not propping up this fraud. 1. Read the article 2. delete the very obviously false meme 3. touch grass

@Outli3rThe @Trill_MUFC @TheInsiderPaper No. It’s a terrible tragedy innocent children die in wars but it doesn’t make it a crime/evil. If you think about who started this war & why, their motives for building terror tunnels & hiding among civilian infrastructure, you’ll realise which is the evil party. Good day sir
