I can’t emphasize this enough but the infrastructural and environmental harms of this war cannot and should not be minimized. Precious lives are being destroyed in Iran. But so are the very structures that make future possible. This is the modus operandi of Israeli warfare.

For the first time in two years since Israel’s war of extermination, children in Gaza celebrate Eid.

Block the straight of Hormuz for a week and the world goes mad but block the Rafah crossing for years, preventing the entry of food and humanitarian aid into Gaza and nobody bats an eye. It’s not hard to see that this world values markets, profit and capitalism over human lives.

Eid Mubarak to the hospitalized, the unjustly imprisoned, the displaced, the refugees, the homeless, the grieving, the workers who had to spend it away from their families, and anyone who woke up to no one wishing them a blessed Eid. May Allah lift all of your burdens.

i feel i could talk abt aroura's sanctuary for lost things for days. It has a personal resonance for me - arospec fmc - the navigation of grief and loss, friendship and love -what it means to feel loved ( familial love) - complex mother daughter relationship

and the found family aspect really touched my heart + aurora is probably my favorite female character ever

This is my second reread of aurora's sanctuary for lost things. and no manhwa has ever cemented itself more deeply into my brain. there's a real warmth in this story with so much time spent on aurora and her relationships with her family and friends without romance
