@Cohrlan @denpanopticon 03's early episodes are so great for characterization. Seeing the brothers on various jobs in different towns did wonders for the world building of Amestris. I'm disappointed that they cut the mining town in specific, I love that episode

@denpanopticon The craziest part is that pre-Dante 2003 adapts the manga so, so much better. Brotherhood skips over a ton of shit like the train robbery, the mining town, and even stuff from after the divergent point like the Lan Fan and Envy fight for the sake of speeding through the plot.
