#TaylorHighway CLOSURE update-- we've postponed the Taylor Highway closure to better accommodate highway users who are preparing for the season change! 🛑Roadway closure will start the morning of 9-20 and roadway will remain CLOSED until the morning of 9-24. Happy Hunting!

Aurora Bridge Project-it's still waiting on the seven concrete girders that span the slough due to delays from the Anchorage manufacturer. While it is a serious inconvenience, DOT&PF will finish the bridge by the end of June 2024. MACS transit has resumed service.

Taylor Highway users: A recent bridge inspection revealed movement in the piles and backwall of the Taylor Creek bridge at MP 50 of the Taylor Highway. The Taylor Highway will be CLOSED from September 5-7 for a temporary bridge installation check 511.alaska.gov
