@mattvanswol “I would crawl over BROKEN GLASS to vote for a RINO Republican over any liberal Democrat”
And you wouldn’t even have to because you can still vote via mail-in ballot. God bless America
English

I've noticed that some people have mistaken my criticism of the GOP not holding people accountable…
...as some sort of a leading indicator I would vote for a Democrat
Let me be very clear:
I would crawl over BROKEN GLASS to vote for a RINO Republican over any liberal Democrat.
We should be able to hold 2 thoughts in our heads at the same time:
1) The GOP in Congress are a lazy bunch of goons who clearly do not value accountability, investigating fraud, or what Elon / Nick Shirley have sacrificed to make all of it known, and they should be called on their bullshit.
2) If liberal Democrats were in power, there would not even BE a DOGE, no deportations, huge increases in fraud, and mass crackdowns on free speech
The only way anything changes is to hold our public officials accountable for their actions (or inactions).
The beauty of X is that anyone can say anything to, or ask any question of, any elected representative.
You can move the conversation of important topics forward by just using your voice on X.
If you don't think the GOP feel under immense pressure to hold people accountable after all of us on the X platform started asking them why the hell they haven't investigated or defunded the Minnesota/ Somali daycare fraud yet…
...then this is all for nothing
You have a voice.
Use it to push the conversation forward.
X is a magical place where anything is possible, you just have to SAY IT and then keep fighting for it.
If we the people don't start fighting for real change, for common sense, for accountability, for mainstream positions...
...then tell me
Who the hell will?
It's up to us.
Elon can't fix it all on his own, he tried.
The GOP certainly can't.
Neither can Trump on his own.
The only way things change, is a massive, collective scream for decency and common sense.

@ClayTravis Comparing the NFL draft to slavery is lunacy. That said, Clay would have been on the side of those fighting against free agency in the NFL back in the day 100%
English

Hopefully there will be a chapter in this book — which someone else will write and no one will read — explaining how Colin Kaepernick can simultaneously believe the NFL Draft is slavery and also why he is so desperate to be a slave and play in the NFL again.
The New York Times@nytimes
From @TheAthletic: Ten years after Colin Kaepernick first drew national attention for taking a knee in protest during the national anthem, he is set to tell his life story in a memoir titled “The Perilous Fight.” nyti.ms/4txq1b3

@SenWarren You are very wrong on this one. People should be paying in commensurate with what they are taking out down the road. Also, the funds should be invested in moderate (not high) risk securities and not receive virtually zero interest. Fix the system, don’t just grab cash.
English

@ClayTravis Clay — markets back to pre-war. Today, do you see this as a massive US victory? Seems like we set them back more than last summer. Iran now making money with SoH toll. We are at the START line, not the finish. Has Iran truly changed ways? How could we completely extract soon?
English

@GuntherEagleman Interesting Nobel peace strategy — start the war and then end it
English

@Acyn lol, like it was a huge coincidence the missiles started almost immediately after they agreed to a ceasefire? Really??
English

@ClayTravis It’s all a game Clay. The people who tell you he needs to finish the job because you cannot trust their word, will now tell you this is a victory & everything was done perfectly. A peace deal would be amazing — whatever happens though, the true outcome won’t be known for a while

@Gowron15 @GunkitC @MattWalshBlog Trump also saying he doesn’t care about the enriched uranium at this point because a) our intelligence will alert us if they try and b) it’s buried deep and inaccessible currently. So this one is already done. You think their word is enough now?
English

@GunkitC @MattWalshBlog It was a big set back. They’re still trying to get them though.

Americans are suffering. It is way too expensive just to live for most families. Our cities aren’t safe. Our country is being transformed every day by foreign migration. Our elections aren’t secure. The SAVE act was not passed and won’t be passed. It’s time to end this war in Iran and focus on our country, our people, our future. Far too much of Trump’s second term has been spent on foreign adventures. It has to end. Turn the attention back home.
English

@ClayTravis I’m trying to square this with the million posts saying “Trump doesn’t bluff”
English

@CarlHigbie Trump regularly posts contradicting statements, so he will sometimes “be right.” We also obliterated their nuclear capabilities last summer, heard they are an imminent threat but also at their weakest point in recent history, and want to save their people by erasing Iran forever
English

So Iran now ADMITS they had enriched uranium… Hmm weird. Trump was right again

@AndrewKolvet Yeah, am not sure that’s the flex he thinks it is. Why are we there then?
English

Clay Travis dropped a wild stat: "Since we started war in Iran, you are more likely to have been murdered in Chicago than to have been killed by Iran, if you're in the armed forces. Think about that for a moment."
"The streets of Chicago are more dangerous for Americans than the skies above Iran."
Regardless of your point of view on OEF, our military is performing heroically and expertly, and I celebrate them.
English

@mitchellvii I don’t think they do. There is no meaningful policy vision, no actual plans for making the country better— just vitriol for the current admin. And the R’s are not exactly taking advantage of having all 3 branches right now (plus SCOTUS). It’s a total sh_t show.
English

@ZeekArkham You want your feelings validated? Show any posts from any American who didn’t want the 2 brave military airmen rescued. Your “feeling” is fake news
English

I’m feeling like the Left didn’t want the second pilot to be found as a “gotcha” towards Trump.
It’s a real problem when you’ve got a segment of the country that hates Trump so much, they’d prefer the country to fail so they can use it to hurt him and us.
As much as we disliked Biden, we always wanted America to win. Always.
That’s the difference between us.
English

Calling this a "war crime" is pure fearmongering.
Under ICRC Rule 10, strikes on infrastructure used for military purposes are permitted. Civilians are NOT the target.
Grifters just bank on their audience being too stupid to notice.

Trump Threatens War Crimes, Praises ‘Allah’ on Easter Sunday ‘Praise be to Allah,’ the insane president posted, while threatening to blow up Iranian power plants and bridges if he doesn’t get his way. zeteo.com/p/trump-easter…

The new talking point on the left is that the Iranian regime is "still in charge."
The people who were in charge are DEAD. Their military is decimated. The person supposedly in charge now has never been seen in public — all we have is a cardboard cut out!
Does that sound like a regime that's in charge of anything?
English

Would like to see the American First ROI calc when this is all done

Update: We've now spent over $42 billion so far on Israel's war in Iran. 1 Billion per day. Remember this as you mail your taxes into IRS on April 15th.
