The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is not a Holocaust film. It’s post-war guilt propaganda. It makes Nazis look innocent. Jews look passive. And history look blurry on purpose.

Bruno is the Nazi’s son. Shmuel is the Jewish prisoner. But the movie frames them as two “lost boys” in a cruel world. No. One side built the fence. The other died behind it.

The father runs Auschwitz. He’s literally in charge of genocide. Yet the film paints him like he’s just a “misguided family man.” This ain’t nuance — it’s a rewrite.

It tells you the average German “didn’t know.” That genocide just happened while families had dinner. False. Plenty knew. Some cheered. Others stayed quiet. But they knew.

Where are the Polish victims? The Roma? The mentally disabled? The Soviet POWs? Auschwitz was built for Polish resistance fighters before it became an extermination machine. But that’s missing. On purpose.

There’s no Jewish resistance. No dignity. Just a silent child in rags. Hollywood loves Jews as victims — but never as fighters. Ask yourself why.

The ending: both boys die in the gas chamber. Sounds deep, right? Nope. It’s emotional misdirection. A fairytale that says: “Look, Nazis suffered too.” Nah. That’s fiction.
