A profitable company pays an average salary that lands in the top 10% of U.S. earners. Sounds to me like they’re creating good jobs and a return.
The mentality that there’s something inherently wrong with this is a big part of why so many companies fail.

Wait so... $200k profit on $20mm ARR 73 employees avg'ing $154k salary. CEO @ $300k/yr Over $11 million a year paid out in salaries. $544 customer LTV. Cost to serve a customer has to be minimal (it's a social media scheduler ffs) and unlike 15 yrs ago, this could prob be built by 2 cracked devs and a designer in a few weeks. SEVENTY-THREE EMPLOYEES. I dunno man...

UCC filings are a legal instrument lenders use to claim rights to certain assets if a debt isn't paid. Lenders often stick these in the fine print, and businesses might not even know they're there.

1/8 I’m very sad today to see that @Bench has shut down.
I’ve avoided speaking publicly about Bench since just over 3 years ago when I was fired from the company I co-founded. I still don’t have a lot of appetite to talk about it tbh, but think at least a short statement is appropriate.
