An interesting day spent with Changan driving this e new Deepal S07. One model two drivetrains single & dual motor. Priced from £38,000. Review shortly but I was impressed by the car & the brands ethos. @globalchangan

One of the most fascinating cars I’ve tested in what feels like years: the gigantic Lucid Gravity. Can’t say what it’s like just yet, but I can say that I think Lucid is one of the most interesting and under appreciated car firms in existence. A UK launch can’t come soon enough

@AutoPap I, like Mr Autopap never ever wanted an EV.. but ordered one last week (on a PCP, so don’t own it).. 3m deposit, and then 23x£142pm, (24m lease) inc VED, and £500 credit in free Leccy. They are literally giving EV’s away to get registrations. Stupid low monthly payments..

If it’s just a matter of transport, I think owning an EV now makes more sense than ever. Especially when it costs me approx £1.20 to charge for my week’s driving.

@andrewmaxwalker This one certainly is, mate. Cannot *believe* how good its ride and rolling refinement is. Only car I can think of that I've driven which might be better is the R-R Phantom VIII. But I stress, MIGHT. G80 so, so good! Can't wait to cruise home in its cloud-like luxury tonight.😁

The next car arriving on test (and amid the hefty showers lashing mid-Notts today) is this #Volvo #EX30 #Cross #Country Twin Motor #Performance #Ultra, £47,060. With 428hp and these looks, I love a lot about this already. However, I do *not* love the needlessly complex HMI. 🤬

Night 4 of 4 .. The Santa Sleigh Run around our villages of Highburton and Kirkburton. @HuddsHub The pouring rain miraculously stopped, but then the snow started..looked very Christmassy
