@virtuallyluca iirc she was absolutely beloved in the fandom until the fanfic incident. That is a perfectly fine reason to dislike her, but to act like her art is awful when she was practically worshipped prior is unnecessary 😭 bad people can be skilled, attractive, funny, etc

@virtuallyluca its disingenuous because her art simply is not that bad. There are times where something is "off," but the majority of the people who criticize her are not artists nor do they have any actual valid criticism. It's just bullying

gerard is notably difficult to draw. a lot of mcr artists Have said this. By making fun of someone for not capturing their essence (when you're actually making fun of her as a person), you're by proxy shaming other people for not being able to capture gee in their work.

This is unnecessarily cruel. This behavior reflects negatively on yourself and makes a lot of people view you as an unnecessarily cruel person who will make fun of them at the drop of a hat. If you don't like her behavior or her art, stop interacting with it.
