Humanoids aren’t the best form factor for everything. Agriculture is a good example for that. Humanoids will shine in dense human made environments like cities, factories, households or inside vehicles like trains or planes. But exchanging all robots for humanoids was never the idea.

Kind of wild news for me. Sora was great. To me that means your loss per sora video must be so inane and you also don‘t see generation costs reducing any time soon that the only viable option is to sunset it. Given the rapid cost reduction in everything Ai, it is definitively an interesting decision.

What we need instead: - deregulation, especially of construction - a smaller percentage of our wages going to welfare/pensions - access to cheap energy - a unified capital market in the EU - technologies created at our universities being used in European companies - protection against American buy-outs of our innovative start-ups Working harder is maybe at the bottom of the list of necessary ingredients to compete with China.
