Last year on a trip to Gran Canaria I met a trader with 7 years real experience. He showed me his daily setup. Constantly switching between Coinglass, Hyblock, TradingView and his exchange. Raw data everywhere but nothing that actually told him what it meant for the next trade. We were both tired of it. So we built Athenum. One dashboard that combines liq heatmaps, funding rates, open interest and more. But the real difference is we actually interpret the data and give clear actionable insights. Presets that work from day one. No more scattered tools. Built for serious traders. We are deep in the trenches building it right now. If this sounds familiar check it out at go.athenum.xyz/sg2b Wisdom Over Chaos.

@TedPillows The $84-85K confluence is the gateway. Argus marks the same FVG plus the September order block above it: $110,144 to $138,554. $100,779 sits between as the next stop. One zone gets the headline. Three zones get the trade.

@cryptorover the whistleblower claims need real evidence before anyone takes them at face value. but the market data point is hard to argue with.

MASSIVE: Whistleblowers are confirming what many already suspected. Claims are circulating from several whistleblowers alleging that Axios coordinated market-sensitive reporting with financial insiders. Including accusations that CME order information was shared by phone before market open and close prints. Crude oil short positions were allegedly placed ahead of Axios reports on a possible U.S.-Iran deal and a “14-point agreement.”

BTC just tagged $80,400 and got smacked back to $78,900. Funding flipped from +5.4% to -7.6% on Deribit. CVD on futures bled out at minus 8M during the drop. Spot delta turned red at the top. Shorts paid longs into the wick. Then someone fed them. The setup is short, but Argus is calling it where the next squeeze is.

BTC up 3.23% to $80,894. CVD on futures is -406K. Spot delta is also red. That means more sells than buys printed in the last hour. And the price went up anyway. Someone is absorbing every offer at $80K and the tape doesn't care. This isn't retail. This is a sponsor.

two charts that explain why crypto is having a moment: case-shiller home prices: +0.7% YoY (lowest since 2023) 30Y mortgage rate: 6.3% real estate is no longer storing wealth. inflation outpaces home price growth for 9 straight months. we just shipped a custom chart builder. 250+ FRED, BIS, IMF series. this is what hard asset rotation looks like in slow motion.

just shipped our btc liquidation map. what it's showing right now: 3.2B in shorts stacked at 82,500. 2.65B in longs stacked at 74,600. shorts are bigger. shorts are closer. funding negative for 60+ days. aggregated across 10 exchanges. live, 2 minute refresh. the asymmetry has a direction.

@cryptorover Bearish signal but short spikes are often noise or intraday volatility. If the negative Premium holds longer then we might see a large correction

No, my point is that you can't directly compare the transaction volume of a payment processor like Visa or Mastercard with the on-chain volume of a crypto asset like Bitcoin. Visa and MC primarily process retail and consumer spending: everyday purchases of goods and services by hundreds of millions of people (groceries, shopping, travel, e-commerce, etc.). Their ~$25 trillion combined volume is almost entirely final economic activity in the real economy. In contrast, Bitcoin’s reported transaction volume is mainly trading, exchange internal transfers, ETF inflows/outflows, and large institutional settlements NOT retail payments. Even when we look at adjusted “economic” volume, the nature and purpose are fundamentally different. I agree the original “coffee” example wasn’t the best comparison, but the category mismatch remains the same whether we’re talking everyday retail or high-end luxury deals. I also agree that retail transactions aren’t the purpose of BTC. But then why even consider such a comparison like Visa/MC volume vs BTC? If you believe the two are still comparable, that’s totally fine. No need to get personal.

@ath_jackson @cryptorover The actual point? You think the point of Bitcoin is to buy coffee? JFC how are SO MANY people in gen pop this fucking retarded. BUT, dumbfuck, over 4M merchants in the US alone take BTC for payment now. So you retards that don't understand the point of BTC can buy coffee 24/7

@nworetribution @cryptorover You are still ignoring my original argument haha If you can’t address the actual point without getting personal, there’s not much left to discuss.

@nworetribution @cryptorover That is an interesting comment to make about me without knowing me at all. However, it still doesn't change the fact that you cannot compare apples to oranges.

@Christo04644427 @cryptorover Yeah, that’s an exception, but as you already mentioned, it’s very inefficient. Also, almost every crypto card requires you to complete KYC, aside from a few minor ones that don’t, which few crypto users want for the reasons we all know.

@ath_jackson @cryptorover You can with crypto cards but what is occurring behind the scenes is that BTC is being sold for dollars, then the coffee is paid for with those dollars. Very inefficient since each transaction is a taxable event. Imagine filling out a ton of Form 8949's each year for coffee. 🙃
