🚀 New Publication Alert! Our latest study in Materials Letters uncovers how bio-templated ZnO nanoflakes—crafted from agro-waste starch & lignin—trigger distinct apoptosis/necrosis pathways in Candida albicans. 💥 Potent antifungal & antibiofilm action 🛡️ Low cytotoxicity 🌱 Sustainable nanotech in action! 🔗 doi.org/10.1016/j.matl… #Nanotechnology #Antifungal #Biomaterials #Sustainability #ResearchWin

Glad you’re finding ways to cope, but neuro-ophthalmic conditions really benefit from specialist guidance. VR can help with visual training, but it shouldn’t replace proper evaluation. Your initiative is admirable — just make sure you’re working alongside evidence-based care so you don’t risk worsening the condition

@avikrams My Doc is the best… but what if… I have a neuro condition… 10 years vertical and horizon double vision… I fixed the horizon all by my self… I had no choice… I maxed out over 15 in prisms… I’m stumbling through fixing double vision all by myself… VR is the way…

🚨 New Research Alert! We used AI & Machine Learning to crack the code of Pre-eclampsia — one of the most dangerous complications of pregnancy. By integrating multiple RNA-seq datasets and training an XGBoost model with Recursive Feature Elimination, we identified a powerful 20–50 gene signature enriched in zinc finger proteins and leptin signaling pathways. These could become novel diagnostic biomarkers for earlier detection and better outcomes. 📷What do you think — could AI finally solve the biomarker challenge in PE? #Preeclampsia #AIinHealthcare #MachineLearning #Biomarkers #PregnancyResearch #Bioinformatics doi.org/10.1016/j.preg…

Glad you recovered, but shingles is a viral condition, and current evidence doesn’t support ivermectin—topical or oral—as an effective treatment. Doctors stick to validated therapies because safety and efficacy matter. Always best to discuss any off-label use openly with your physician

@avikrams I got shingles… Doc was out of office.. I used ivermectin… it halted the pox… My doc died eyed me, but did not say a thing… and it was literal horse paste… human Ivermectin was over 100 for a few doses… 10 bucks for horse paste.. a foal dose rubbed into the skin.

Dana, In Germany, medical doctors generally prioritise evidence-based medicine, but many also acknowledge complementary approaches if they’re supported by safety data and used alongside—not instead of—conventional care. Acceptance varies by specialty and by practitioner, but the overall stance remains: scientific evidence first, alternative therapies only as an adjunct.

@avikrams May I ask a question? How do German doctors see alternative medicine?

@avikrams I have two patented discoveries in cannabis. Also gravity is the force experienced due the hydrophobic nature of nitrogen atmosphere (79%) forcing water to the furthest reaches of the atmosphere. Evenly distributing water on a spinning ball. 😉

Here’s an engaging X (Twitter) post tailored to that specific BfR article: Is your apple really “poisoned”? 🍎 A compelling read from German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment unpacks the myth vs reality of pesticide residues—reminding us that “the dose makes the poison” and risk ≠ hazard. (bfr.bund.de) Science over fear. Evidence over headlines. 👇 bfr.bund.de/en/release/the…

I understand the concern—diet and health are deeply connected, and personal experiences like yours with CSID can be very real and impactful. From a scientific perspective, though, it’s important to distinguish between individual sensitivities and general food safety. Most foods on the market are regulated and tested to meet safety standards, but that doesn’t mean they work equally well for everyone. Conditions like CSID can make certain carbohydrates difficult to digest, which may understandably feel like a broader issue with the food system. That said, framing all food as “toxic” can oversimplify a complex topic. It’s more accurate to say that biological differences, food composition, and processing methods all interact in ways that affect people differently. Continued research in nutrition science is helping us better understand these variations and improve dietary recommendations. Your perspective highlights an important point: one-size-fits-all nutrition doesn’t work, and individual responses matter.

🧠🫀 7 Tesla Cardiac MRI: Are we solving problems… or just admiring prettier images? 7T gives you jaw-dropping images. No debate. But let’s be honest: 👉 If EF, volumes, and flow metrics don’t really change… 👉 If most studies are still on healthy volunteers… 👉 If only ~8% of data is truly validated… Are we pushing clinical value —or just technical fascination? Our systematic review (65 studies) says it clearly: ⚡ 7T = incredible signal, insane resolution, unmatched metabolic potential …but ⚠️ Clinical superiority? Still unproven. 💡 The uncomfortable truth: We don’t need 7T to measure what we already measure well. We need 7T to show what we cannot see at all. That’s the shift 👇 🧬 Metabolism 🧩 Microstructure 🔍 Early disease beyond resolution limits 🚫 Not replacement ✅ Reinvention 📌 Bottom line: If you’re using 7T to replicate 3T… you’re wasting it. If you use it to redefine imaging… that’s where things get dangerous (in a good way).

🐾 How dangerous are toxins for our pets? The German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment has analyzed years of data from poison centres to better understand cases of animal poisoning caused by biocidal products. Protecting dogs and cats starts with understanding the risks. 🧪🐶🐱 Learn more 👇 bfr.bund.de/en/notificatio…
