Alabama just lost to Michigan on the first and last days of 2024. What a year.

Had a great time at the @north_alabama football game last weekend with my friends @jamiekiel and Representative Bubba Underwood.

5 years seemed so far off in 2019. But with every milestone, scan, and anxiety filled oncology visit I knew I was getting closer to “graduation”. Today I’m incredibly grateful and blessed to say I’m 5 years cancer-free, otherwise known as “medically cured”. Thank you to everyone who has ever said a kind word or prayed for me. Thank you to my incredible Urologist, Dr. Duggan, and my Oncologists, Dr. Gore and Dr. Capra. This said, early detection saved my life, and I know so many are not as lucky as I have been. Just a few weeks ago, I saw yet another guy who was a husband, father, and son, pass away from this terrible disease. If you’re a guy, self-examination is key. If you are worried about any potential changes in your health, talk to a medical professional. It could save your life. Finally, thank you to @b___hester. I could not have gotten through the last several years without you by my side. I love you. God is great, God is good, even when we’re suffering.
