Late to this but what a spectacular book! Saving Sorya is a powerful graphic novel based on the life of Trang Nguyen, a Vietnamese wildlife conservationist, who devoted much of her early life to rescuing bears from bile farms. If you don't have it on your shelves, track it down.

When we give feedback to our students, the focus is on the past. “People can’t control what they can’t change, and we can’t change the past. And that happens to be the focus of most of the feedback that we give or receive.”
