I'm open for 2 commissions in this style. The price is €100–150, depending on design complexity

@OliverBeckArt Hi Oliver! Unfortunately I won’t be able to attend this term due to a month long work trip. I’m really hoping this isn't the only time you're teaching. Do you run more than one term per year?

@enPorcelain A lot of the outfits are just plain fantasy skins, especially the new gacha ones coming out in CN servers. Skins on global like the Ninth Pawnshop and many skins for women also aren’t genuine ancient outfits. The game does whatever sells and it’s alright. More variety never hurt
English

@bartorczyk Almost all WWM outfits are inspired from genuine ancient outfits (except for that Christmas costume, but netease got shittons of hate for it). Even if this concepts are lovely, they dont fit the genre of this game
English

@BessWisty @werewolfblake Which in current times could still be a legendary...
English

@werewolfblake I don't think it is, everything has the same animation.
English

I swear to GOD this better not be his legendary

Extra hot. Extra crispy. 🍗 Fried Chicken King Swain is also available in Patch 26.7.
English

@deweibs @Betterthanyuall So how is the fem version of the Ninth Pawnshop acceptable for devs to make money when the outfit is not historically accurate but these concepts aren't, please...
English

@bartorczyk @Betterthanyuall If the clothing design is inspired by ancient Cn culture, then even if it's as revealing, fans will accept it. The fem version of the Ninth Pawnshop would also be acceptable (for devs to make money). What's unacceptable is Hollow Strokes(incompatibility with the times+nudity+Xmas

English

@Betterthanyuall @deweibs Yeah, Ninetails being better for women again. We just need more variety overall and I don’t see how that hurts anyone in the playerbase. None of their fantasy designs fit the aesthetic elements of a supposedly historical game btw
English

@bartorczyk @deweibs Happens in reverse just as often, Waveborn and Ninetails off the top of my head. Also being a furry is definitely one of the aesthetic elements WWM is trying to push eg, dog ears, fox ears, fox tail(s), bat ears, cat paws. Srry I just don’t see that one design fitting in wll😔😔
English

@Betterthanyuall @deweibs It doesn’t stop them from adding skimpiness and odd things to female skins. The female version of the Ninth Pawnshop is one of the most popular skins on CN and it doesn’t fit the games aesthetic whatsoever. Of course the male counterpart got a completely different, boring outfit
English

@deweibs @bartorczyk Ur right. It’s exactly the fact that the skimpyness doesn’t fit the games aesthetic that makes OP’s design odd imo
English

@deweibs These skins are much more creative! Too bad WWM is stuck with a homophobic playerbase
English

@bartorczyk Similar to Where Winds Meet, NetEase's A Dream of Jianghu is an MMO with many daringly dressed men, but it has a predominantly female player base.

A Dream of Jianghu (Yi Meng Jianghu=一梦江湖) is an 8-year-old female-friendly game where male characters have more revealing costumes than females. Its female producer contributed to early dev of Where Winds Meet, which claimed to be female-friendly yet failed to keep its word.
English

@iamgrasses I agree. As fun as the game is I’m slowly losing interest due to the lack of different options for skins
English

@bartorczyk The appearance is the problems i have with WWM. I appreciated that the game is kinda LGBTQ+ friendly, but both male and females MC's appearances are still stuck in "masculine/feminine" stereotypes.
English

@Betterthanyuall Yeah, the Hollow Strokes outfit. The małe version was fully different from the female one. Funny how they claim historical accuracy but only apply it to men. Women get bare legs, paws, modern shoes and creative lower garments. That contrast is what inspired my designs for men
English

@bartorczyk Do they in WWM? Like in other games sure but WWM has been rlly tame abt it. At most just baring the mid riff which is typically shared with the guy’s fit. Even the Hollow Strokes one came at huge discourse in the Chinese community so I’m guessing nvr again
English

@Betterthanyuall Women got a very skimpy outfit recently so I don't understand why it would be an issue for men 😌
English

@bartorczyk The second one is pretty good with the hair and furs. Love the sleeves and bottoms😍😍but idk if the first one might be too skimpy for the game. Also what’s up with the third one’s hair 😭😭
English

@nz2007wx I'm not, it's just fanart. But I would love to have the opportunity one day ☺️
English

@yunzismn Thank you! I definitely did but I tried to stray away from typical hanfu shapes since the game already offers that in 95% of the costumes 😊
English

@bartorczyk these look awesome im curious if you took the inspiration from xianxia costumes 🧐
English

@bartorczyk YOUR RENDERING IS INSANE
