Today is the International #ForestDay and #PoetryDay. We encourage #creativity with poetry in our school forest in Prenden and Müggelsee. Our students are regularly tasked to write traditional Japanese #haiku during their time in the forest.

Our kindergarten and preschool are particularly pleased to have received the #Waldkönner #award from the Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald Bundesverband e. V. . We were able to show that the #forest and the #climate play supporting roles in our #preschool and #kindergarten.

Saturday was a big day if you are in First Grade at BCS. We welcomed 3 new first grade classes, 2 at Campus Rückerstraße (Mitte) and 1 at our extracurricular learning site Müggelsee and Mitte. It was lovely to see the day celebrated by the whole community! #FirstDayofSchool

Championships for VEX IQ took place in Hamburg. Cosmo Girls competed in the Elementary School category became German Champion. Our Cosmo Stars competed in the V5 competition in the Middle School age group and became German Vice Champion. Congratulations to both! #robotics #mint

Our #BasketballGirls (2009-2011) had there first tournament. The #team showed a superbe team development during the tournament. The team was coached by Emilia, Grade 9. Great job, Emilia, too. We are excited to see more from this team in two weeks time. #interntionaleducation
