@ryolu_ I wish people would realize soon that we are all one symbiotic being. Not fragmented countries or political parties. Competition and ‘us vs them’ is a net negative for the world. I wish we could reshape the world to favor kindness and collaboration over fear and competition :(

the danger of picking sides the world is getting more polarized by the day. west vs east, us vs them. this binary thinking is poison. when we fragment the world into competing spheres, we’re choosing division over understanding. the same polar thinking is killing innovation and progress. when you’re building something great, the magic happens in the nuance. the best products don’t pick sides between simple vs powerful, or fast vs beautiful. they find the right mix. they see the whole picture. steve jobs didn’t choose between technology and liberal arts – he found their intersection. the best teams don’t have engs, designers, gtm fighting against each other – they have humans who can think across domains. yet we keep falling into these traps. we build echo chambers instead of diverse teams. we optimize for engagement instead of understanding. we ship tools that reinforce existing beliefs instead of expanding minds. the moment you pick a side, you stop seeing clearly. you start filtering everything through your chosen lens. confirmation bias kicks in. you miss the subtle signals that could lead to breakthrough insights. the reality is messier and more interesting than any binary reduction. security and openness can coexist. competition and collaboration aren’t opposites. different cultures can share universal values. we’re all humans trying to figure this out. we all want safety, progress, connection, meaning. we all love our families and dream of better futures. the path forward isn’t about winning or losing. it’s about finding common ground and building universal access to the tools that free our minds. that’s how we make great things. that’s how we solve hard problems. that’s how we build a world worth living in.

The first time I saw nba jam in an arcade was mind blowing. 4 players, fast paced action, announcer screaming “he’s on fire!!!!” at the top of his lungs.. Then the reality that every game cost 4 quarters (even if you won) sunk in 😭😭😭

@joenandez That’s amazing!! You’ll have to teach me one day how to avoid 20m bugfix holes where we spin on the same 3 approaches to the problem. Have found some tricks but.. so far that’s been the hardest part for me

Totally - that’s the thing I can easily get into flow with Claude Code. It really has gotten to the point where it feels like an instrument. Really required getting the right workflow/prompts in place - now tuning my prompts feels like tuning the instrument. Then get right back into the flow.

In my late teens/early 20s, I was obsessed with song writing. Inspiration daily. Lots of riffs and full songs. Jamming w/bandmates. Using techniques from pros. Applying music theory. Naming songs/bands. Crafting dynamic contour. Building products with AI feels exactly like song writing did to me.

@joenandez I'm tired but super fulfilled after a DJ set. Like I just lived my purpose. I'm tired and satisfied but super drained after AI creation. Like I just hyper-orgainzed my dj collection.

@joenandez Interesting. I love making music/DJing. I quickly enter flow state and start feeling (not thinking). Lots of dreaming. Building products with AI feels like programming to me. Thinking. Super logical, Breaking down problems into chunks. (with a few moments to dream sprinkled in)

@joenandez Reminds me of early days of server side js where new tools would come out and create crazy new workflows because it was all just js underneath. Hell just having agents write prompts so you can better interact with them in the future is crazy powerful.

I feel like its under-appreciated that Claude Code commands, settings, agents, are all just markdown/json files that Claude itself can read/write/delete any time. Such an insanely flexible/customizable system. Giving me so many great ideas.

Probably a stupid question but.. if we are using llm's to write code, why are they bothering with anything but assembly language? 🤔

In my late teens / early 20’s, movies became the way I learned about the world. I studied how Heath Ledger got the girl in 10 Things I Hate About You. A few scenes still hit in my 40’s. Touching someone this deeply still feels like a life goal to me: youtu.be/j64SctPKmqk?si…

@ericzakariasson Awesome. The closest i've gotten is a general screenshot utility w/ a hotkey that i can hit to copy an image to clipboard that i bake into my cursor template. This is smart tho.

Really starting to monitor what gives me energy and what drains me. I get so much energy from creative acts (singing, playing music, djing) and get drained quickly when I'm in my head.

Trying to imagine a world where tools like Cursor get an order of magnitude faster. Like returning a request in 1 second instead of 30s-1m. It's going to be insane.
