Last week, we enjoyed a vibrant Languages Week filled with immersive cultural and linguistic experiences. Highlights included specialised Spanish dance sessions with Somos Caribe for Years 5 to 8. They also enjoyed taster lessons in Spanish, Latin, and even Mandarin!
Year 8 have been studying Volcanoes and Earthquakes!
In one of their recent lessons, they used chalk to draw incredibly detailed diagrams illustrating volcano cross-sections, complex plate margins, and earthquake epicenters. A great way to bring their learning to life!

Last week, a group of pupils from across Years 5 to 7 took part in a huge Model United Nations event at the Senior School!
Incredibly, all four teams won against their opposition! We certainly have some budding politicians in our midst! Well done to everyone involved.
This week, we celebrated Languages Week with some outdoor learning!
Year 2 mastered their Spanish greetings and learned to name the colours of the parachute!
Meanwhile, Years 3 & 5 solved a French scavenger hunt! They cracked the clues and recovered their "stolen goods"!

It was a privilege for our school choir and solo vocalists to visit the Chaseley Trust recently for an afternoon of music and connection.
The residents thoroughly enjoyed the performance, and it was a reminder of how powerful music can be in connecting people together.
Our Year 8 musicians were pleased to join several other local schools at the Senior School for a jam-packed Orchestral Day last week!
Pupils made wonderful music which they performed to parents and guests in the afternoon. An inspiring day was had by all!
This year we entered the National FIRST LEGO League for the first time.
Our team competed brilliantly in the UK National Final at the Harrogate Convention Centre, showed amazing teamwork and had a great experience. We’re already looking forward to doing it again in the future!
Our Reception pupils had a fantastic time at the Senior School Zoo! They were able to get up close and personal with some incredible creatures. The children were fascinated to learn about the different habitats and diets of the animals cared for by our senior pupils and zoo team!
Year 3 had a fantastic day exploring Fishbourne Roman Palace!
From making mosaics to writing on papyrus and spinning wool, our pupils truly lived like Romans for the day.
They even learned about royal fashion and took part in a Roman-themed photo shoot!
Congratulations to our table tennis stars - Year 7 pupil Gabriel and Year 6 pupil Raphael, who have arrived at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield for the England Hopes Squad Camp!
This 4-day residential gathers the top Under 13 players in the country! Well done!
Congratulations to Libby, Gabe, Matthew, Lake and Maya for receiving their County Colours at the Tennis Sussex Awards. We are incredibly proud of your hard work!
Some of our pupils recently had a look into the world of gaming with a visit to the @FuturLab studio in Brighton. From seeing how 3D animation comes to life to learning how QA testers hunt for bugs, it was an eye-opening experience!
