At 22, I was selected as one of the inaugural community leads for the GW Google initiative, WomenWill. Despite being the youngest member, I took on the role in Uyo, where I spearheaded programs to empower and unite women in entrepreneurship & leadership. Continue reading…

Today I am sharing my last short video on how to leverage social media for storytelling. I hope you feel inspired to tell your story on social media and you find the courage in your story. Storytelling changed my life and open doors of opportunities and possibilities for me. It was one of the ways I found my voice and uniqueness and to advance social good. If you have enjoyed these series, let me know what you think. I would be recording and filming new set of videos before the end of the year, if there is a topic you would like to see, kindly let me know in the comment section and to rewatch the full video, subscribe to my YouTube Channel below and watch the videos too. youtu.be/xvZNctPo55g?si…

Something crazy just happened. I designed 2 logos each for two businesses (4 logos). Business owner did not approve any of them. 😂 He rather wants me to replicate and tweak a particular logo he has kept for a while. What do we learn from this?

I am pleased to announce that the Kayode Alabi Leadership and Career Initiative- KLCI @KLCI_Initiative received $51,000 in cloud credits through the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Education Equity Initiative and has just released our new product Rafiki AI, Africa’s first Generative AI career advisor for underserved and displaced young people. Rafiki AI (skill2rural.org/rafiki) is a WhatsApp-based solution designed to help young people create a personalised career pathway plan in just one to two minutes, with the ability to maintain interactive conversations for up to 24 hours. “Rafiki,” which means “friend” in Swahili, offers a fun and engaging multilingual experience, making career guidance more accessible than ever. We have been finding a way to scale up career support for underserved young people since 2017 when we used to have career seminars and provide 1-2-1 and group career support for young people in schools in underserved communities in Nigeria. In fact, I recall developing the ISLP Model (Interest, Strength, Limitation, Purpose), which helps individuals discover career opportunities through structured assessments. This model was further expanded in the co-authored book, “Career Wisdom: Ideas to Kickstart Your Career,” written by myself and Abiodun O. Ajayi. With the advent of generative AI and after being selected as a Brandtech Group Impact AI scholar and attending One Young World Summit in Montreal, Canada last year, and engaging with the Brandtech team. I came back home and started exploring how AI can open pathways for career exploration, counseling, and guidance. I built a short prototype that uses predictive AI and then worked with our tech consultant Emmanuel Adebayo who led the development and explored a generative AI model to build this. I have learned so much from this process and we have had some setbacks, and I am glad this is now a workable product. Read about Rafiki AI in the news tribuneonlineng.com/klci-secures-5… thisdaylive.com/index.php/2025… guardian.ng/joe-komolafe/k… businessday.ng/bd-weekender/a… And feel free to start using the platform by clicking the link below wa.me/+15557228341?t… Tell me what you think about it and share it with your younger ones who need it. Please kindly repost and I look forward to sharing my insight as I engage with Rafiki myself. Visit skill2rural.org/Rafiki to learn more

We just launched a generative AI Career Support Platform for children living in underserved, underdeveloped, and disadvantaged communities. This is the first of its kind in AFRICA. RAFIKI AI is a WhatsApp-based career guidance tool for students. #education #AI #SDG4

What do they discuss at these meetings and conferences? African Union? ECOWAS? Ministry of Foreign Affairs? Ministry of Aviation? Who exactly is advocating for easier, cheaper, more convenient travel for Nigerians and to/from Nigeria? We deserve better.
