🍇 Grapes Council Meeting Report (+ more) 🗒️ The monthly Grapes Council Meeting was held today, w/ founders @danbeasley1 & @ben_cusack sharing updates & addressing concerns w/ selected members of the Grapes Community. In addition to their report, we also heard significant comments earlier in the day in Discord (included). 🧨 Call it a Comeback The team knows they have made mistakes but are working every day to put Grapes where it belongs. “I just want to say, I know it's been tough the last few months, guys. We've made some missteps, but Ben, the wider team, and I are fully committed to turning this around. Together, as a community we can come together and make you guys a lot of money. This will be the Grapest comeback you guys have seen.” – Dan “I have a plan for you all… Grapes to 1 ETH & $GRAPE to $0.1, we unlock [Redacted]” – Dan 👀 🍇 Bunches Have Evolved Dan said that Bunches, which served as the main measurement for the first airdrop supply, will appear in different parts of the ecosystem & on GrapesPad. The team said there is still 36% of the $GRAPE total supply locked for holders. They’ve continued to look at more innovative ways to use their assets & provide unique value to holders. “Businesses evolve & that’s what Grapes is doing. Bunches are evolving as well.” – Dan 🎲 Newest Game Incoming, GrapeDrop A teaser was posted on @JoinGrapes earlier today of the newest mobile Grapes game, GrapeDrop. A mysterious comment was attached: “Follow the Journey.” The game will be released in the coming days. 💸 Revenue Transparency The team said that in terms of revenue, the project is not losing any money. Games, secondaries, in-app purchases are in the green. Dan said there’s positive cash flow but “we’re not at our goal yet.” The team wants to begin providing the Community a quarterly report. “We’re in a position to be a lot more transparent in how things are going, our focus, and being more open and honest w/ you guys.” – Dan 🪙 On the State of $GRAPE & Market Making Dan said that Grapes began as an NFT project & hasn’t yet broken through in the wider crypto audience. He said they need the flow of projects to hit GrapesPad to increase reach into the coin-side of web3, & put more buy pressure on $GRAPE. Dan was very confident that incoming projects onto the platform would do this. He also assured the Council that there’s active comms w/ the MM almost daily. 👕 Grapes Merch Store Earlier in the day, NFT holders & 50k+ $GRAPE holders were given exclusive access to an online store, which the team plans to rapidly fill w/ clothing, toys & other merch. Stay tuned for an official public release. 🪐 In the Mocaverse Concerning a recent tweet by @animocabrands that listed partners (Grapes was absent), Dan said they intend to get their name on that list. They continue to be close with Moca leaders & are looking at integrating $MOCA across the Grapes ecosystem, including Scratch Cards. They also are expected to be part of an Animoca @Olympics marketing campaign, which Dan could not speak openly about. Stay tuned. 🧹 Sweeping the Floor? Dan was asked in Discord whether the team has been buying Grapes NFTs off the floor. He would only answer, “I've seen those sweeps. I like those sweeps.” 🌱 The First Weeks of GrapesPad The team is very pleased w/ the initial launch of GrapesPad, the new staking & partner platform. The next update is aimed at adding a lot more utility for the community, specifically NFT holders & $GRAPE holders. They restated GrapesPad currently is very early in its development evolution. Stay tuned. More features & utility are coming. ⏰ The Velocity & Timing of GrapesPad The team said they are watching current market conditions closely. It will probably be another few weeks until the floodgates open for GrapesPad. An “avalanche” of projects will be integrated when they feel the market is ripe. They are only speaking to the most promising partnerships. “We plan on giving you guys first dibs access to some pretty hot things in the coming few months.” – Dan 📓 Grapes Games Report Grapes Scratch Match is doing well, providing good lasting value. Watch for more token integration, including ETH and USD as soon as next week. Grapes Bingo has shown positive results, but the team’s aim is to increase retention by developing it further. ☎️ The $TON & Telegram Plan The team shared that they’ve been working w/@ton_blockchain for a few weeks now. They’ll be looking at expanding the community reach on @telegram & see as a very promising opportunity. 🕺 More Visibliity & More Moonwalk Dan said he plans to stick to his promise of being more visible in Discord. He also plans to utilize his X account more. He made a bet with the Community in Discord: “When we are back to an ETH, I moonwalk… you pick the location.” Ben did not commit to a similar bet that has him publicly twerking (fortunately).
