It’s over. Anyone who works behind a screen (literally, anyone) will be replaced by AI within 2-3 years. The things I’ve seen the last 1-2 weeks has shaken me to my core. This is absolutely the most monumental change in the last 50 years.

Pratade nyss med min vän som är entrepenör. Han har kärat ned sig i Claude Cowork och kan nu ta fram prototyper på idéer i en rasande fart. Betalar närmare 2 000 kr/mån men sa att han skulle vara beredd att betala 10x den summan. En av hans vänner som också är företagare satt tydligen nu och tog fram ett verktyg för att runda bokföringsbyrån, för det handlar ju ändå bara om att flytta siffror med en rätt tydlig logik menade han. @Utvecklingslra1 @Investeraren Mja. Det kommer nog landa någonstans däremellan. Vi kommer att använda byråer som i sin tur använder agentisk AI för att det är enormt mycket mer effektivt. Men vi kommer att vilja ha någon som tar ansvar (e.g. människa).

@SergioRocks Fairly good point. First we automate ourselves. Then we use that to automate everyone else. It’s already happening.

Everyone is misreading this chart. At first glance it looks scary for Software Engineers. According to Anthropic’s data, 96% of software development tasks are exposed to being replaced by AI. That’s the highest of any profession. - Higher than finance. - Higher than legal. - Higher than management. If you stop reading there, the conclusion seems obvious: - Software Engineers are the first to be replaced. But look closer. Actual observed usage is only 32%. And more importantly, ask the second question: - Who is building the automation for every other industry? Software Engineers! AI does not eliminate software. It makes software dramatically cheaper to produce. And when something becomes cheaper to produce, demand explodes. This is the Jevons paradox of software. As developers become AI-augmented, they do not disappear. They build: - AI systems for finance - automation for legal workflows - decision engines for healthcare - optimization tools for logistics Every industry in that chart becomes programmable. Software Engineers may be the first profession heavily automated by AI. But they are also the ones automating the rest of the economy. And that is why software demand keeps rising. I veckan har börsen skakats av en rapport från analysfirman Citrini som förutspår en framtid där AI i allt större grad ersätter mänskligt arbete vilket leder till ökad arbetslöshet och en ond spiral där ekonomin till slut blir ett tomt skal av “spök-BNP”. Working with agentic AI feels like the internet in the early 90s. Everything is new and exciting. We know this is revolutionary. And the rest of the world hasn't really woken up to it yet. So we got until morning.

Microsoft's AI CEO just nuked half the white-collar workforce. He told the Financial Times that accountants and lawyers are getting fully automated in 12-18 months. Not "assisted." Replaced. The $200k spreadsheet warriors and contract reviewers? Cooked. Meanwhile the plumber you called last week is still charging $300/hour and laughing. Decades of "get a safe office job" advice about to age like milk. The corporate ladder just got sawed in half and nobody's acting like it. So what's it gonna be: you stacking assets while the paycheck still hits, or updating that resume for a job that won't exist?
