@thescratt @BBC Honestly I’ve never loved the reboot, occasionally good, but treating the doctor as some messiah-like figure just destroys everything good about dr who - classic who stumbles into some fight and desperately tries to stop everyone from killing each other

We’ve been screaming @BBC for years that the writing for #DrWho is utter junk. They could fix it. But they seem unable to. Putting it out of its misery is the best option at this point.

@kristjanvalur @poojavnair Well there’s unhealthy as in economically unsound and unhealthy as in very economically sound because of lots of cost cutting measures that maximize profits at the expense of consumer health and the environment - anyway it’s a personal choice so don’t care what others do

Meat eaters are better hosts because they care about providing vegetarian options to their guests but the same hospitality is not extended by vegetarians (to serve meat options).

@poojavnair Should add that I’m not vegetarian for moral reasons, I think it’s natural for humans to eat meat, I just find the meat industry extremely unhealthy

@poojavnair False, I’m vegetarian and used to host weekly Friday night dinners where I made ribs - also been to friends houses who didn’t make vegetarian dishes, I don’t like making a fuss about my choices - good or bad host has nothing to do with diet

@Jack_Raines It's insane how google is willing to cannibalize it's own search engine, by placing in-search answers and now AI summaries, slowly killing the places where it sources it's data, how could this end well for them? I'm now on reddit regularly for the first time in a decade
