🚨 Host Your Own Local LLM On The Abacus AI SuperComputer Stop being sad about Fable and control your destiny by hosting your own LLM - host open source LLMs like Qwen and Gemma - create chat bots or always on APIs - message it via an always on agents Use SOTA models like GPT 5.5xHigh or Opus to create open-source LLM apps and games

@JordanSchachtel Clearly that’s not correct / Anthropic is more security conscious than Amazon

Furthermore, it’s being reported that Amazon’s CEO is the one who reported the major vulnerability in Fable, which could lead users to develop offensive cyberweapons. Anthropic remained dismissive and did not take the issue seriously. They are playing a very dangerous game.

I’ve had a number of conversations with folks inside and outside government about the current situation with Anthropic, and here is what I believe to be true: — As we know, Anthropic publicly released its Mythos class models earlier this week under the commercial name Fable. — Fable is Mythos with guardrails. But if those guardrails fail, then you’ve exposed Mythos and its advanced cyber capabilities to people who shouldn’t have them. (Keep in mind that Anthropic itself widely promoted the idea that Mythos was a cyberweapon and needed to be regulated as such. They asked for government regulation of Mythos and championed the guardrails on Fable. If there is a vulnerability — big or small — it is Anthropic’s responsibility to patch.) — A highly credible trusted partner of both Anthropic and the USG who was testing Fable came forward with a jailbreak of those guardrails. The Admin asked Dario to fix the jailbreak or de-deploy the model. Dario refused. — In their blog post, Anthropic defended its decision by saying the jailbreak isn’t serious. That is not what the trusted partner and the USG believe; nor is that kind of minimizing language consistent with Anthropic’s brand as the AI safety company. It’s difficult to fathom how they could claim a jailbreak allowing operability of a cyber weapon could be defined as not “serious.” — In the past, Anthropic has always said that safety must be top priority and taken super seriously. In this case, Anthropic prioritized the continued offering of the consumer model over safety. — In reaction, the Admin issued the export control. The Admin did this reluctantly. It’s been very surprised that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to cooperate with a reasonable safety request (ie fixing the jailbreak issue). Anthropic’s reaction is very much at odds with their branding and ethos as a safe AI research community. — The Admin’s hope now is that Anthropic remediates the safety issue, the export control is lifted, and Fable goes back into general release. The Admin wants all of this to happen as soon as possible. It is frankly bewildered that Anthropic hasn’t wanted to comply with safety requests that it previously said were its highest priority. — Those trying to misdirect and tie this action to the prior DoW/Anthropic issues are wrong. The Admin values Anthropic’s technical capabilities and feels that this issue, while serious, should be easily resolved. The ball is in Anthropic’s court.

Furiously working the weekend to wire up Kimi 2.7 code into complex agentic loops Kimi 2.7 mixed in with SOTA models can get to 90% of Fable like intelligence at 10x lower cost Targeting tomorrow for launch

TBH almost are "jail breaks" are.... Most of this is stuff you can find on the internet. The model largely spews what it reads on the net For the 0.0001% stuff that is meaningful - censorship is not the solution - fixing the core vulnerability is If you go down the censorship route, someone else will develop a model that doesn't have these gaurdrails and hack you anyways

Wow! The US government is saying Anthropic refused to fix a minor jail break issue after harping about safety 24/7 This entire drama is endless security theater... Why not just fix the so called "jail break" and simply release Fable again?

@bindureddy Someone is not telling the truth here. The government says serious enough to pull the model. Anthropic says minor with only verbal evidence. Those can't both be real. And neither side has shown the proof.

@esseremercedes You do realize having a 15% position means nothing Anthropic is going to surpass Amazon’s entire market cap in 6 months 🤷‍♀️

@bindureddy You are not getting it, Amazon deliberately helped ban the model so that the market reduces the valuation of Anthropic and Amazon can get more position for less. Absolute brilliant tactic.

Kimi 2.7 beats Fable and GPT 5.5 on agentic coding benchmarks Yes, some of it is bench mark maxxing but a lot of the performance gain is very real! China will over take US in a few weeks if the US is dumb enough to ban AI 😬

Literally every model can be “jail broken” to answer questions that the frontier labs prevent them from answering This is just information that the model found on the internet and is freely available to every kid using Google It’s utterly stupid to ban an AI model for this. By this logic we should bans all AI Plus if it is remotely true that it is indeed “dangerous” why would any rando US citizen be allowed to use it 🤯

This is really stupid The US banned Fable just because it responded with information that is already freely available on internet!! Every other model can easily be made to respond to some silly questions about common security vulnerabilities or how to make drugs or whatever 🙄 Wow! The cluelessness of the government is astounding

The US government is crippling our AI lead The more they block frontier models, the more everyone else will be forced to innovate Sooner or later China will win and the US will devolve into a dying empire 🥹
