They still would have to get an approved application for the undercover operation via FBIHQ. With the names they were investigating and have valid probable cause to be undercover in the first place. Per dc code 5-333 and AG guidlines on undercover operations. The standard is SUPER high for first amendment protected events.

I know I can’t say that I believe in a God. Because belief requires doubt. But right now. If there is a God, please just pray to him for the situation I am in rn. Someone very close to me needs it badly. If God is real. Than please talk to him for me. I usually know what to do. Im not sure I do right now. And it’s crippling.

Looks like Matthew Perna tried to throw a bucket at the police line at 4:37pm but whipped it into a livestreamer by mistake. He clearly wasn't one of the more violent rioters that day, but he also wasn't the 'completely peaceful protester' that some people painted him to be.

@bit3theapple Given the other things he threw that day, I’d say it’s a bit more hypothesis than speculation. It’s also why I began the post with “Looks like…” I can’t say for sure where he was aiming, but I’d certainly wager that it wasn’t at that particular steamer that the bucket did hit.
