Video Content Marketing - Calm brain ๐ง behind strategy-led videos โก I write beginner-friendly storytelling threads โก Growing in marketing under @iamveetoria_

I get asked a lot about the difference between audience, followers, and community. Today, Iโve broken down the differences, and this is especially important for SMMs, marketers, and CMs to understand. โ Audience Your audience is made up of people your content speaks to. Not all of them follow you, many simply come across your content because it is targeted at them. โ Followers Followers are people from that audience who choose to follow you, showing a deeper level of interest and connection. โ Community A community is the deepest level of connection. It is a group of people who engage with you, support you, advocate for you, and are genuinely impacted by what you do. Marketers, Social Media Managers (SMMs), and Community Managers (CMs) all work with audiences, but with different goals. โ Marketers focus on attracting the right target audience and driving conversions. โ SMMs focus on creating content that attracts a specific audience, building visibility, and growing followership while strengthening the brand. โ CMs focus on attracting a specific audience with the goal of nurturing relationships, increasing engagement, and building a strong, connected community for a brand or individual. No matter the role, the process is similar: โ You attract your target audience โ Turn them into followers โ Grow them into a community By the way, how many of you truly understand the relationship between a marketer, an SMM, and a CM? Iโd love to hear from you. Iโll be going through the quotes and comments. Letโs have it ๐ซณ
