Mike, I think the pirate profiles can be a hitter that will earn a big buck but not if you push it as described. Most people in community were opting for additional pirate slots to be able to change their look without losing their OG pirate but they want to keep progression and cosmetics. What you offer to players is basically a brand new pirate with brand new account that can be done for free by signing with new microsoft account. New pirate slots like brand new characters would make sense in game with skill progression or MMORPG but not in cosmetic only game where the only difference is how the character looks. I doubt there will be anyone interested to redo the tiresome grinds just to have different pirate look without even having their own og stuff.

Take a look at the latest #SeaOfThieves News where we announced Pirate Profiles, allowing for roleplay or re-experiencing your journey. These are NOT at the expense of outfit saving - that will still happen, eventually 😉)
