Another day another call out post on furry twitter. Just trying to save anyone the headache and money ive lost from @/ABearFromSpace. I commissioned a acrylic badge in 2024 at AC since then it’s been nothing but pulling teeth to get answers and all I’ve gotten is a sketch🧵

@ABitMundane This is an example of the badge I thought I was gonna get at their booth, which is why I spent the $200 to commission it obviously the one I had gotten is nowhere near close to the quality this is.😅

@boof_loop I dont wanna judge peoples art cuz it seems mean, but 200 for that is -insane-. I could hook you up with an artist who wouldnt ghost you and would get it done promptly >3>

@boof_loop @anthrocon As a vendor, it genuinely breaks my heart to see someone like this CONTINIOUSLY get support from these cons while they actively scam clients, while also taking a table away from someone who would do the work and be happy doing it. I hope more can be done :/

@MackAttack158 @KeanuStinkbean Im so sorry, but i appreciate telling us about your experience with them. Your like the 6 th person to come forward about abearfromspace. So we are now over a grand in unfulfilled work to be sent to clients. Pretty sure stealing/scamming over $900 is a felony 😅

@boof_loop @KeanuStinkbean Been waiting on a commission from them for about 2 years now. Struggled for responses and I don’t even want the art anymore at this point. Asked for a refund but they only told me they could refund so much since money was tight.

@faithfulsakura I know right!!! This is an example they had at their booth, which is why I wanted to buy it because it was very nice looking, but mine isn’t the same quality shown in this picture. It’s also acrylic so it looks really nice.

@boof_loop this reminded me i did an art trade with them at FM 2024 and they never finished their half. nothing i care too much about bc no money was lost for me, but the thread of so many people getting ghosted is wiiiiild D: really sorry you had this experience

@TIGERS_CLAWS That looks already so much better! I didn’t wanna be rude once they finished it, but I did think it looked really bad, especially with all the references that are out there for the character and I thought it would be to the quality of the first two pictures I showed of their stuf

@boof_loop Ngl I try to not judge art even with how some can look nowadays but literally what is that- Like yeah I was legit about to fall asleep seeing this but legit what is he susposed to be doing holding a wheel when it looks like hes doing a dang- (had to literally find his name to)
