2013 Fendt 933 Just rolled over 8000 hrs It’s a special edition fir green, it was so faded that people assumed it was supposed to be grey I decided to hire someone to properly polish and ceramic coat it. Cost me $1500 all said and done. Was it worth the investment?

Planting #flax. Using Esch drill with 5.5" row spacing. Next year we'll have our own drill with 4-in row spacing with Precision Planting seed meters.

How far is too far for custom seeding? Have a guy looking for 160 acres seeded 50 miles away. What’s a good rate for mileage?

There’s a difference between being busy and actually getting ahead. Farming will let you confuse the two for years. I’ve been guilty of it. Have seen others live by the “just be busy” mentality. Don’t be afraid of hard work, but be sure it’s strategic and intentional.

A couple days in the city makes me really appreciate my little, old, farm house and rural life.

@Duser4 Curious if the losses are slightly higher on the header compared to undercutting or knifing? We always used to undercut but this seems like a much simpler and more cost effective way to harvest beans…
