There is no job security on X. It should be regarded as an important side hustle, but it must not take the place of a regular job. However, if you would still like to resign from your regular job offline and focus squarely on X, kindly recommend some of your mutuals to your HR Department. It's even a special way of engagement, too. 🤣🤣

@egi_nupe This obsession with "hustling harder" just to stay relevant to a wife is a form of emotional slavery.

Proposing marriage to a woman who earns more than you is such a crazy thing. It’s a different thing if she starts earning more than you after marriage. Even at that, you have to work harder, so you don’t lose your place in that marriage, except if she’s extremely in love with you and regards you beyond your finances. Ordinary asking a woman out, regardless of the age difference, makes her see you on the same level with her. Now imagine her earning more than you? Better hustle harder cos women don’t settle!

This doesn't make any sense. Being head of your home has nothing to do with who earns more. Some of you earn more than the woman and she is still head of the home. You either have family values or you don't have it. If something happens to your finances in marriage, what happens?
Ghost Writer ✍️@Prezain_LJ

Am I the only one who doesn’t see anything wrong in what she did? Ooh, maybe I’m a realist and I don’t get beclouded by emotions. That man is a red flag because every other man knows you should be ahead of your woman in certain key areas. Financially and intellectually, she should be able to look up to you as her leader and mentor. Men naturally demand respect and submission. You cannot expect that from a woman who earns more than you, who may even be smarter, and who has a career edge over you. Look at how Veekee James, at every slight opportunity, lets the world know that she is the one paying the bills and not Femi. How many men would tolerate that? Money carries authority and command. It takes great effort for a woman to earn more than you and still remain submissive. As a man, I can never marry a woman who is financially better than me. If I am earning 250k, I will marry a woman who earns the same or less. Someone may ask what happens in marriage if she grows and eventually earns more than you. That is different. At least she grew under my leadership. I must have played a role in her growth, and that is still to my credit. Always ensure you are financially steps ahead of your woman. He who pays the piper, to a great extent, dictates the tune. On the lady’s part, women are hypergamous by nature. She was honest with herself. When it comes to marriage and relationship decisions, women can be ruthless, as they should be. This kind of salary arrangement often leads to a 50/50 dynamic, or it results in issues such as her constantly explaining financial decisions or being pressured to support him financially. She knows the man more than we “online in-laws” do. Who knows how financially reckless he might be? He could be the type who constantly monitors a woman’s finances. As the higher earner, no matter how we sugarcoat it, even if the man insists on running the home with his modest salary, given the economic realities of the country, she will still carry a heavy financial burden. Many women do not want that. I like to be honest and blunt with myself. If this scenario involved my daughter or sister, would I encourage her to marry a man who is less financially stable than she is at the start of the marriage? Absolutely not. In the future, many of us will become fathers, and you will understand. When you visit prospective in-laws to say you want to marry their daughter, the first question is, “What do you do for a living?” Then imagine discovering that your daughter earns more than her husband-to-be. Ask yourself honestly whether you would still encourage that marriage.

It all begins at the foundation. Many men are dying in silence because of the stress from bearing too many burdens. The long term impact is very visible in society today. We have very few grandfathers among us. This is the result of a system that exhausts men until they have nothing left to give. If a woman is meant to be a helper, then her help should extend to preserving the life and health of her partner by sharing those burdens.

This issue of money discourse in marriage is simple. Every income you earn is family income. That way, it is irrelevant who earns more. I'm not making money to buy private jet. I make money so my family and friends can have a much better life and I can sleep in peace. The primary and only purpose of money is to pay bills. Every other thing is secondary. If I earn more than you, it is of no relevance. If you earn more than me, it is of no relevance. If you want to relax and be taken care of because you believe my money is for the family and your money is for you, I am not the one for you. I can lay down my life for you literally and figuratively. If you cannot do the simplest thing - to commit your income to the family, how can I trust you to lay down your life? Regardless of your earning power, I can take care of myself. I was doing it before you came into the picture. But if we are going to build a life together, then we are going to carry the responsibilities together. Otherwise, you're irrelevant and I'm better off being alone. Where your money is, that is where your heart is. If your money is not in the family, your heart is not there. It is really that simple. This is about commitment, the money is just a tool. You'll always fight for your investment and the greatest investment is family. It is important for the children to see that a woman's money belongs to the family. I'm not raisjg kids without family values.

They are simply not ready for this conversation. The common consensus is that a man is the head of the family and should bear the entire financial burden alone. This raises a critical question. What exactly do women do with their own earnings in this scenario. The argument is often made that God created woman to be a helper to man. But we must define the role of a helper. How can an individual help another if they lack the capacity or the willingness to contribute. If a woman has the financial means but does not use them for the family, she is not truly helping. To be a helper is to provide support where it is needed. If the burden is financial, then the help should be financial. Women need to answer these questions and address the reality of modern partnership.

If someone with 5K followers posts and only 100 people view it, what’s the point of having that many followers? The least the algorithm could do is show the post to at least 50% of their followers. This is like someone inviting 5k friends to an event and only 100 turn up😆
