The Browns traded 3 first-round picks for Deshaun Watson and paid him $230M guaranteed. He’s a former first-round pick and 3x Pro Bowler heading into his ninth NFL season. The fact that there’s a competition and he’s not QB1 by default over a second-year fifth-rounder tells you everything you need to know.

If you spent 230 million on something it’s likely ya take 1 last shot to try and make it work. Don’t underestimate how much Stefanski was the problem.

The getting paid take is just a way to deflect from Shedeur isn’t good. If the Browns had Jaxson Dart after the way he played last year there is no way Watson starts over him

No other rookie QB from last season has to deal with a “QB competition”, but Shedeur. The Browns organization is the worst and they created this! And the Browns media is garbage as well. The only reason I’m even paying attention to the Browns is due to Shedeur being there.

If Shedeur Sanders is truly that much worse than Deshaun Watson, we’re in for another bad season of offense.
