@bryce_tully I think as a society, these lenders and banks rake people over the coals, deceive, and take advantage so they can fill their pockets. But it’s the system we live in and people are forced to play ball because there are no other options.

@GeoffGates As in you think it's harmful for society and the economy, or just from a personal philosophy/goals standpoint?

@bryce_tully Absolutely. I just fundamentally don't believe in 30 years of interest. If you can't make the payments on a 15 year, find something less expensive, save more, or keep renting. Of course a lot of variables at play here, but I think 30 years is harmful.

@hannah_huesman A friendly challenge here! Belonging shouldn't be used as an incentive for coaches to get more out of people. Things like belonging, psych safety etc. should be prioritized regardless of their impact on performance. Doing it for results is transactional, not transformational.

If you aren’t creating an environment where players feel comfortable being themselves, you aren’t creating an environment to get the best out of your players.

@bryce_tully @scapps Statement was made to affect social norms around bullying at individual, parental and coaches level for general well-being. Performance was a side note, but resonated very much with me. You are absolutely right. Safety should always be ensured regardless of performance.
