everyone being scared abt the cons beforehand but really they kinda just single handedly saved byler twt by confirming all the cast (but gaten) believed in byler, mike would explore and consider his sexuality if will confessed, and confirmed that finn played mike as queer

at least we can’t get called delusional for shipping byler anymore when even the majority of the stranger things cast were surprised byler didn’t happen

I know Foah spent so much time together off set during s5 because they’re in love — and you can feel it in everything they do 🤍 but I also really want to highlight how much care they put into Mike and Will. They truly believed in Byler. You could already see it in s4 — the way they played the tension, the softness, the unspoken feelings… it felt so intentional, like they were trying to honor that story the best they could. And in s5, it feels like they kept building that, spending so much time together not just because of their love, but to make Mike and Will’s relationship as real and meaningful as possible. Finn Wolfhard and Noah Schnapp gave so much of themselves, so much love and depth, even within the limits they had… and you can feel it in every scene. Foah is real, but what’s just as real is how much they respected Byler and tried to do it justice. and for that, I’ll always be grateful 🤍
