@JoelFeldmanPhD My Dad and two of his younger brothers served in the U.S. Army, and his oldest brother did a stint in the Navy, all in the 1950s. My oldest brother was drafted in 1968 to go to a place called Vietnam, and I enlisted in 1977 at age 17.

Military Did any member of your family serve in the military? Why?

@japan_nobunaga Dad gave me a .410 shotgun when I was age 10 - fast forward 56 years - I now own 3 12-gauge shotguns, two .22 rifles, and three AR-15s, along with five handguns in assorted calibers.

Be honest with me, Americans 🇺🇸 Do you actually own a gun? In Japan, I have never seen a real one. Not once. Not at a friend's house. Not in a drawer. Never. But online, every American just goes "oh, mine's in the nightstand" like it's a phone charger 🔌 So now I'm genuinely curious: What's YOUR gun? The very first one you ever got? Is this normal everywhere in the US? Or just some states?

@SGTWipper1Each I would try other choices before making Ibuprofen a habit - kidneys do NOT repair themselves if damaged. The V.A. used to prescribe strong Ibu to me for my lumbar stenosis that I ate like candy, and now I have Stage 3 kidney disease.

Back hurts today. Should I: A. Take 800mg Ibuprofen B. Change my socks C. Drink water D. Drive on
