I was really hoping he would have got Jeopardy. Imagine the guy that taught us books were important later being the one giving us the test. Played out over a lifetime, not just a few years in school. Major missed opportunity there. At least we have Trek.

@bystrick Wait, I want to understand why the part where you say, "people don't understand loans"? Like, the pushback against forgiveness is why people don't understand? Or the people who took the loans didn't understand? I want to be clear on that part.

Student loan forgiveness just proves people don’t understand loans, and that the government can’t make any decision in a divisive environment without half the country trying to riot. Long term, this won’t last.

@TheStValentino The most prominent argument currently seems to be the drain on the economy or that this somehow directly impacts others by forgiving some portion of a loan. It’s non-existent money that is easily covered from any other spending “bucket”, and costs nothing to make an adjustment.

@ox1muspr1me We should have been rioting long ago, when we realized news and media outlets had been politically compromised to eventually create schisms in our political landscape over reporting news. Cronyism and favoritism is ignored if you can divert attention on a whim.

@bystrick we should riot when the gov't forgives politician/celebrity PPP loans & bails out their friends failing businesses.
